"Beat the Winter Blues" Party!

Hi.
My friend Jane over at  Adventures in Dinner is having a link party every Saturday, sharing ways to beat the winter blues. Those dark, dreary days can get to the best of us!
Today looks like it's shaping up to be one of  those cloudy days where you never really wake up, because there isn't any sunlight, just dreariness.

How can you bring a little sunshine into your dreary days and long, long, long winter nights?

I find that just taking time to play with the kiddos usually brings a smile to my face.
Not sitting, moderating them but actually getting down on the floor and playing cars, trains or whatever they want.
It's so much fun!
Doesn't she look like she's having fun? ;)
Tea parties are serious business.

I often fall prey to the lie that kids are a drain on my time and energy, but when I actually take time to enjoy them and spend quality time with these precious little beings, I am always blessed and energized and realize how much of a treasure they are. :)

Here's another of their favorite things to do: roast hot dogs on the stove. They LOVE this! Almost every day they ask to do it. Of course, we don't roast hot dogs every day, but it does make for a fun lunch. :)

What are some ways you beat the winter blues? Join in on the party!

Here's what you do:
Go to Adventures in Dinner. Then,

1)  Add your specific blog post and and not just your general blog URL
2)  Visit at least two other people who join and leave them a nice comment
3)  Be a follower of 'Adventures in Dinner'
4)  Grab a button so that more people will share.

I think this is such a good idea to have a party so we can all beat the winter blues together!
See you there. :)

You're welcome, Jane! And I'll try to make it next Saturday, and maybe Monday. :)
